Four Gamers Play Their Way Into the Record Books With NBA 2K9

02/26/09

Four lucky and skilled gamers earned a spot in the Guinness World Record Book by playing NBA 2K9 at the 2009 All-Star Jam Session in Phoenix, AZ. The folks from Guinness World Records were on hand throughout the weekend to test the skills of the pros and the fans.

While Shaq did not break the record for Most Blindfolded Free Throws in One Minute, four video game all-stars set new records for Most Three Pointers, Most Free-Throws, Most Consecutive Three Pointers, and Most Consecutive Free Throws made in one-minute in a video game - and the video game was NBA 2K9, of course.

Most Three Pointers made in one-minute in a video game: 26

Most Consecutive Three Pointers made in one-minute in a video game: 8
