MLB 2K8 Virtual World Series Highlights All-Star FanFest

Baseball and video game fanatics packed the bleachers inside New York City's Javits Center for the championship round of the Chevy 2008 Virtual World Series during the MLB All-Star FestFest.

The final round of the MLB 2K8 tournament, hosted by ESPN's Karl Ravech, saw Zach Albano of Elmwood, N.J., take on Chris Bratton of Somers, N.Y., for the crown, and a trip to the World Series this fall.

Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. and MLB 2K8 cover athlete Jose Reyes also made special appearances at the event to cheer on the finalists, and answer questions from fans. You can read more about the event with MLB.com's coverage of the Virtual World Series.
