Benefitting After-School All-Stars
To celebrate the October 6th launch of NBA 2K10, Kobe Bryant and 2K Sports hosted a video game tournament for a handful of lucky students from After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles. Joining Kobe at the Lakers practice facility were teammates Derek Fisher and Sasha Vujacic, along with Clippers Eric Gordon and Chris Kaman. Kobe MC-ed the tournament, which paired a middle schooler with an NBA player in four two-man teams. The event ended with Kobe and 2K Sports presenting a check to the After-School All-Stars to help fund Mandarin language programs for its students.
