As NBA 2K10 approaches, we will see an influx of people to this section. Many will be new and many will be people who haven't posted in months or years. You are all welcome here, or welcomed back here.

However, I need to remind everyone, new and old, to please read over the Forum Guidelines and become familiar with them. They can be found here: Click Me

These guidelines will be strongly enforced here, as this section can get quite unruly. There will be very little tolerance to those who break the rules. We especially want to put an end to flaming, trolling, language abuse, and pointless, post-pumping posts. Just remember, if you don't have anything to contribute to a thread, then it might be better to not post at all. Debating issues and other topics are fine, but remember to respect the opposing viewpoint. Do not flame while arguing a point.

Bans will start at 3 days, and go up from there for multiple offenses. And if you are banned, do not create another account. Multiple accounts will result in the newer account getting permanently banned while the original account will receive a 2 month ban or longer.

Also, I want to remind people that there is a thread in the Basketball Discussion section for any and all NBA Live posts & info. So, if you wish to discuss that game, please do so there. Threads and posts created in this section will continue to be deleted.

So, please continue getting excited for the release of NBA 2K10 Draft Combine and the actual game itself. But keep yourselves under control. Be mature and be respectful. Also, have fun out there.

Also, please search before creating a new thread. If a new preview/review is out, or new screenshots get released, there's a good chance someone has already posted it. And if it's new, that thread is probably still on the first page. There are enough threads here already, we don't need repeat threads on the same topic cluttering up the boards. I'm not asking you guys to search every single page, but just check the first few pages.

In adding to the lastest b-Dub post, please put the actual topic of your thread in the thread title so others even know that something has already been posted. I've been seeing a lot of 'teaser titles', which means it will contain a lead in like 'Hey guys did you know..." and then you have to look at the thread to even see what it is about. This creates unnecessary clutter and leads to double or triple (or sometimes more) threads of identical content.

Console War - As KC has updated, if you participate in a console war (IE: 360 vs PS3), you may/will receive and automatic 2-5 day vacation from the site.

Solicitation - Even if a site is legit, solicitation is not permitable on the 2KSports website. Also, if someone is telling you to leave your email address, please be a little more smarter about leaving your address in an open community. We are here to discuss 2K Sports products, and recruiting to other sites is absolutely against our forum policy.

Promoting Illegal Copying/Downloading of 2K Sports Titles: Any threads or discussions about modded consoles and or copying/downloading 2K Sports titles illegally will result in an automatic 2-5 month ban, no questions asked! As far as I'm concerned a 2-5 month ban is pretty light so please stay away from those type of topics. Now if you decide to create another account while your existing account is serving an infraction then your initial account will receive an extra 3-5 months added to the already existing infraction and your secondary account will be automatically deleted and permanently banned. This is my first and only warning! Any repeated attempts from there on will result in your initial account being permanently deleted and your XBOX Live account, and or PSN account, may suffer severe repercussions. Depending on the severity of your actions it's solely my discretion to decide whether or not to change your already existing status to my choosing at any time. Any attempts to circumvent my authority by creating additional accounts to plead your case and or break the rules I just stated will result in an automatic permanent leave. No exceptions!

We all want to enjoy the best hoops game on the planet so let's enjoy it the right way by purchasing a copy online or at a retail location on October 6, 2009. If I see any posts that look like "**** **** ****", "**** 2K", or have remixes of profane wording, you get an automatic one month ban. I understand there is frustration, but seriously, no matter coming from a game should ever warrant such reactions. The way users are reacting is absolutely absurd. 2K has visiters from across the globe of all different ages, please respect that there are others who visit the site. You are not being censored because of the topic of post, but because the topic of post is not handled in a mature and sensible manner.

such measures have to be taken because the amount of threads in the wrong forum is rampant.. making the 2k10 section look like a mess..
