I was wondering if anyone else had this problem - I have my rotation set:
Zambrano Lilly Hill Marquis Bailey (I traded for him from Cincy) Well I play say 3 games... then maybe done for the day. Logout of the season. Log back in later or the next day and go to the 4th game (not necessarily 4th game of the season, but 4th man's turn in the rotation) and it says Zambrano is due to pitch and he is not at 100% stamina yet. Note - this doesn't just happen at the 4th starter's spot. Seems like it happens everytime i load the season. And I am wondering if I change the rotation if it will effect the players morale? Not sure what is happening? anyone else have this problem? |

same problem, plus the CPU always trys to place a different starter than who is next in my rotation. I hate that even more.

From what I've experienced, the error occurs when you view your pitching rotation from your Manager menu screen. Once you go into that screen to see your rotation and view staminas and relievers, the game will automatically set your next pitcher to be your #1 starter.
Very stupid, I know. I was GMing a season, and simming the games, and came across this as I was editing my rotation, etc. |

I had the same problem initially but I think I know how to avoid it.
At the beginning of the season set your rotation the way you want it. Don't play a game and then set it. I think the computer interpets it as the # 1 guy is the guy you want to pitch next. With me I had Chien Mien Wang pitch the first game of the season, then I reset my rotation and the computer had him starting the next game as well. So I reset the season and then set the rotation at the start of the season. I haven't had any problems since then. So say you have Zambrano pitching and then the next day you reset your rotation. I think you need to make Zambrano the five then and that way he won't pitch for five days. |

i was thinking of putting him in the 5 hole - but will that mess with his morale? Not being the #1 guy?

I've never had that problem, but my last 3 starters have a morale problem. For some reason, even though they're in the starting rotation, they aren't happy with their amount of playing time. After their start, they're happy again, but once their next start rolls around, they're complaining about playing time all over again. So every time their spot in the rotation comes around, they have diminished attributes because they have a low morale. That just doesn't make sense to me.

yeah - that does sound crazy...
i saw a news headline at the bottom of the screen after a game I simmed - it said Pinella denied any rumor of him and ***udome getting in a heated argument - I was laughing. I was wondering if it was b/c Pinella didn't understand the words that were coming out of Kosuke's mouth - LOL |

It could because you're starters aren't going long enough. I had this problem with Jon leiber. He only went four or five innings his first few starts. Once he went 7 back-to-back he was okay with life. |

I am not using the Cubs (although I am a diehard Cubs fan), rather the Orioles in a fantasy franchise mode. When I sent down Homer Bailey and Mike Timlin and Called up Aaron Cook and John Thomson, the CPU did my rotation for me and when I try to change bullpen roles, the game highlights Zambrano (1st starter) instead and won't let me change roles. What can I do?
