Default NBA Players most likely to have used Steroids

Lets start some debate.

If there was a Mitchell type report in the NBA, who do u think could possibly be linked to HGH or steroids?

I started to say the same thing.

What if it were found out Shaq used steroids?

Just to help recover? What about Amare,Jason Kidd etc with the microfracture knee surgery?

ever wonder why they didn't end up like Webber?

Kidd hit his wife that time? Roid Rage?

What if it came out that MJ used steroids in his Wizards come back?

I think its ridiculous to think that Baseball players used roids but no NBA players have..........

For a long time, I thought Duke players looked suspect. Remember a few years back, when they had Battier, Boozer, and Maggette? They came in and were ripped. Battier has lost a lot of muscle mass now.

I remember reading somewhere that Maggette told a reporter that he never lifts weights or works out other than normal basketball routines.

Very interesting point about the Duke players. They all seem to have fairly decent sized foreheads as well. (ala Barry Bond's)

lol, do you guys understand what steroid users look like? Go dig up some pictures. Shaq does not have the muscle definition to be a steroid user at all.

David Robinson, yes.

Karl Malone, maybe.

Alonzo Mourning, yes.

Ben Gordon, maybe.

Ben Wallace, for sure.

Dude, you guys would be surprised. I wouldn't doubt that Kobe is on steroids... or even most of those guys. KG... A person has a certain build and they can't really add that much onto it. There is filling out and then there is adding too much weight. You look at Tim Duncan and you can say... wow he's strong, but there is no way he's on steroids because of his arms. Same with Shaq, to me, at least...

It's people who have put on a lot of body weight (All muscle) or people who have insane definition that I suspect.

By the way, some people are also naturally defined. I used to play ball with this kid who was just super swoll looking. I was actually stronger than him because I lifted weights and he didn't, but he looked like he lifted weight every day where as I didn't have much definition at all.

REMEMBER, look at the DEFINITION if you wanna know. Not talking about baseball here. These guys gotta run up and down the court... anyone who suddenly got swoll in college or nba probably was using steroids. heh. Simple as that...

It's not THAT out of the ordinary.

Edit: Out of those pix, I'd say battier for sure.

LeBron.

He used to be super skinny and his head was huge. Then 3-4 years later he 'develops' an NBA body while in high school and playing PF. It doesn't add up.

Well for a lot of the guys since they would just start seriously working out when they get to the league, and will have good trainers, they'll have serious gains early on, then stay about the same. If you're a hard worker, you can put on the weight, you don't need to juice up to do it.

Also about Maggette not working out, I don't buy that. The main steroids that people think of (the ones that help you bulk up) don't help you in basketball. Just being tank isn't going to do much for you as a basketball player if you don't have skills.

There are other steriods that could be used by players though, things for quicker healing, to improve speed etc, but we wouldn't know if they were using these. Most players probably don't know enough about steriods to know about the different effects that can be gotten from them. Many also probably wouldn't care enough, especially if they have skills. What does using steriods to make you quicker when no one is timing you, and the effects might not be noticable on the basketball court do except for give you a chance of getting in trouble? It's not like a player goes to his team trainer and asks what kind of different steriods are available and what are the effects on one's body.
