Yeah, I think it's just wishful thinking on his part. I'd like to believe it myself, but as you said, he signed up just to post that, he didn't cite a source, and the sheer poor timing of that supposed release date do not help it's chances.

I certainly wouldn't envy Ron duties on these boards given the perception I'm getting with glitches from other 2k titles, of which they'd be happy to have us buy, however it would have been nice to have a word on PP2009. I'm not sure what "Baseball Blast" is about buts its not PP. If you like baseball and fun on your Wii I'd recommend the Little League series. Again its not PP by any stretch as is not based on MLB at all but its a great interactive baseball game and the cartoony anime players have legs.

My gawd now I know why I saw tons of Baseball Blast in the Walmart discount bin...a nightmare...run from this one. I think 2k QA dept need to start wearing their batting helmets cause somones beaning them in the head.

NOT releasing MLB PP 2009 is one thing but releasing Baseball Blast is just stupid might as well release MLB PP.They know that it anit going to sell much but they still release it...In fact they can make much more money with MLB PP 2009 but they refuse to list to fans/customers.....
