SPIN & MLB 2K8 All-Star Kickoff

07/09/08 2K Sports and SPIN Magazine joined forces to kickoff MLB All-Star week in style at New York City's Hiro Ballroom with an exclusive performance by Strokes guitarist, Albert Hammond Jr., with DJ sets by Pase Rock (pictured below) and Alex English. Other entertainment included the MLB 2K8 Nintendo Wii gaming lounge – which was busy all night long.

Just a few of the stars sighted at the big event include British rockers Your Vegas (pictured center, below), celebrity publicist Lizzie Grubman, Julian Casablancas- lead singer of The Strokes, Anthony from Band of Thieves, Sean Stewart - son of rock legend Rod Stewart, and "Gossip Girl" co-stars Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick.

The All-Star Kickoff was Albert Hammond Jr’s (pictured top, below) first show in support of his new album ¿Cómo Te Llama? which released the day before the event.
